Ooohhhh I was bad. I guess I needed more retail therapy than I thought and should have acknowledged my instinct to stay out of the mall today.
I wanted more jeans. Not only for my upcoming AZ trip- but also for winter, coming quickly. 3 pairs of my jeans are in constant rotation (my "nice" jeans when I'm off work). I was curious if Express had changed their jeans enough to where they fit me nice again. I hadn't used my account there in 5 years at least.
Now not as much damage as you might think, found two pairs of good jeans and spent just under $65. I did, however, reactivate an account with them (my account had been purged). But that got me 15% off and $25 off a purchase of $50 soon, for maybe another pair of jeans (I'd like at least two more pairs of nice jeans). Money I shouldn't have spent. I should be smacked.
It doesn't end, I swung through JCPenney and bought 2 t-shirts. Didn't charge those though- I used my "hidden" money in my account and only spent about 12 bucks.
Sad part is I used quite a bit of my "hidden money" today. Had to gas up Wicked and buy bedding and food for the rodents. So I've spent some of my upcoming paycheck. I'm living even under paycheck to paycheck. Bad me! Bad!
Oh well. I wouldn't do it if I didn't think I could make up for it. I should be a bit more careful though.
When I go on trips I like to wear new things. I guess that's a bad thing, but in order to cover 9 days I only need two more pairs of jeans and 3 tops. 1 good trip to Ross and less than $100 should do it if I'm lucky. It's an obsession. This will be my last trip for a while. Probably won't have enough vacation time saved up until spring to go anywhere- and hopefully I won't because I'll be working a new job!!!!! I'll be working on that when I come back in November.
Confessions of a shopaholic. Sheesh. I sound like such a girl.
