Galaxie Plays With The Foster Kittens
So I skipped the gym today.
It's raining, which is totally unseasonable for our area and it just made me feel like going home. Plus I knew my sister would be gone to go pick up her husband and I could sneak in some time with the kittens. I holed up her evil cat in her room and let the kittens free to roam the livingroom/kitchen area under my, and Galaxie's supervision.
I was a little worried about Galaxie's reaction to them being out and free to run up to her. She's been really good lately since she's gotten used to their presence and actually played with them through the puppy gate they stayed behind. Within minutes Galaxie was grooming little Vincent's head. It was so cute and so sweet it just about made me cry. She watched where the kittens were, and where they went and batted at them gently, and chased them, and let them chase her. It was super cool. I love my cat. I knew she was special. It was like she did understand that these little creatures are not like my sister's cat which she body slams on a regular basis. She'd throw herself out of the way if she thought she'd land on a kitten and played so nicely. What a little doll.
Then after a few hours of play, all three of them ended up on me snoozing, and I put them to bed.
I had a good evening.
