Little Black Cloud That Follows

Bad luck does its best to follow me.

So my days off very uneventful. I spent the whole day yesterday indoors, drugged (allergies people) out of my congested little mind, in and out of a coherent state, blowing my nose and reading a book.

Today I was determined to get something done, or at least appear as if....

It started out that way, I got up early and fed my rodents. Then I quickly ran out of gumption. Still feeling ill and seeing that it was still windy outside I went to read my book in the safety of my cozy bed-- and promptly fell asleep. Woke up about 10:30, thinking really, I should get up. That thought got me motivated-- at 11. So showered and seeing that the wind died down a bit I was determined to take Wicked out for a nice drive and get my weekly errands done. I made it to a small town about a half hour away and going up the freeway Wicked hesitated a bit and then recovered. He's done that once before and I'm not sure what that is, but not fun on the freeway. So I stopped for lunch intending after to go shopping at Ross and then the grocery store. I only made it as far as lunch. Some guy came into the Del Taco and was asking who the Chevelle belonged to because someone just opened their door on it. Great. Some old man and his old lady parked next to me with their handicapped sticker in a COMPACT spot, which last I checked a Toyota Camry is NOT. I checked for damage (the old man/woman nowhere in sight) at least somebody has a little respect by letting me know. I thanked the guy and saw no damage, thankfully my car is made of hard steel. It was all I could do to not kick the other car.

I'd had enough already. Didn't stop at that Ross, just went home to park my Wicked so that nothing else would happen to him.

Then I took Roger out to another Ross. I tried my damnedest to spend money. I'm quickly running out of quality tops. Found nothing but two more travel mugs that I can take to work. Grocery store. Trader Joe's (in record time, less than 5 minutes and still managed to dump 30 bux), home.

That's pretty much it. Though I also managed to clean Courage's fish tank, Jet and Patriot's hammie cages and just minutes ago, the rattie cage too. So at least that got done. I know how much they all love a clean home they always act so appreciative.

Arizona Boy wants me to come out and see him late May. I'm still not sure about it, but I do need to get the hell out of here....
