Non-Productive
My two days off were completely unproductive in almost every way.
The only things productive that got done was that the animals got fed (goes without saying), cages and room got cleaned, car note got paid and groceries got....well gotten.
The only "fun" thing I did was meet my mom for coffee on Sunday to rescue her from the Lifetime Movie Network. I guess that could be considered semi-productive.
Well, understand that I did exactly what I felt like doing- pretty much nothing. Naps, television, knitting, hanging out with my animals. I'm tempted to continue this through tomorrow but alas, I cannot afford to call-off.
Mother nature decided to keep the atmosphere gloomy for me, and took away the sunshine. Just for my two days off, tomorrow it's supposed to be nice and sunny. All the way through to my next days off..... they're already predicting clouds and rain for Sunday. Fan. Tas. Tic.
I've been considering a trip out of here. Not sure what to do yet. I would LOVE to go to Disneyland for a few days- however, no one I know is in a position to go. The people that I'd like to go with are either unemployed or out of state. Arizona Boy has mentioned wanting me to go out to visit again but I have some mixed feelings about that. Other friends are at changing points in their lives so visits right now wouldn't be horribly convenient for them either.
There are other things to consider as well. My ratties are older and I don't know for how much longer they'll be here. I want to spend as much time as I can with them. My sister is pregnant, and though everything seems to be handled as far as that goes, if I left, my animals might not get the proper attention with my sister working on things for herself. That's really the only concern I have, but for me it's a doozy. So for now I guess I stay put. I might try to ask for a 3 day weekend some time soon though.
I hope that I miraculously wake up in a positive mood....I could really use it right now.
